This project is funded privately but has received the backing of
several other ministries. One ministry in particular comes from Rev.
Dan Traxler also known in the Christian music community as The Gospel Sax-Man.
Rev. Dan Traxler is an amazing musical artist. Having started his
journey in the rich culture of Louisiana, Dan has joined his
heritage with his love for Christ. The trip started when an
impressionable youngster heard the saxophone stylings of the
legendary
Ace Cannon. Dan worked hard at learning all he could about
the instrument and began earning money with it at the age of
fifteen. His band played in every venue possible earning him a
national reputation of excellence in rock, jazz, and blues.
One day, at the urging of his wife, he attended a revival service
at a local church. There, he found Jesus waiting for him. Dan put
away his horns and took a job to support his young family. He could
not have known what God had in mind.
Years later, with gentle nudges from many Christian
acquaintances, he picked up his horns again to play in church. From
there, God blessed Dan and his music took root again, this time in
the service of the Lord.
Now, Dan has several CDs released and has won the admiration of
the gospel community. He has been nominated multiple times for the
Christian Country Music Association's (CCMA) Instrumentalist of the
Year award, played both the Ryman and the Grand Ol' Opry and been
joined by such greats as Cross Country and Anthony Burger.
We would like to thank Dan Traxler for believing in our project
and for the prayers and support he has given. If you would like to
hear some of Dan's music, please click on a few of the links to your
left and learn for
yourself why critics have called his works "...a keeper..."
We are proud to offer his latest CD, Goats' Milk, at the
reduced price of $12.99 per CD. This is a great CD containing such
classics as Georgia, When A Man Loves A Woman, and
Get Ready. This CD is a great addition to any musical library.
Leaving the Juniper Tree features an incredible version of
Will The Circle Be Unbroken? & this CD includes a rare LIVE
recording of that same song as a bonus track.
Any combination of these CDs is sure to warm your heart and bless your
soul as you drive to work, listen in your office, or enjoy that walk
around the block! Proceeds from the sales of these CDs will go
directly to fund additional musical projects as well as
FreeMP3Bible.Org.
May God continue to bless Dan's ministry and work
in the Kingdom.
